I like the example of water cycle that author gave on the book. I think multimedia could help students uderstand concept more clearly and easliy. Some scientific theories could not be understood by explanation of words such as
the identification of photosynthesis. Student may confused how this process work if they just read about explanation sentence. Howver, if they could see the working process, it is easy to get understanding. Moreover, pictures and video materials are more visual tools that help students learn knowledgy.
I like the author mentioned about two basic presentation design questions. Basic on those two questions, it is very easy to help students catch the main point of content of making power point. And the question"what do I want my audience to leave knowing or remembering" could be treated as main ideas and answers of th e presentation.
Using internet on the class is an useful method to help students expand their knowledge field. As the book said each student's knowledge range is different. teachers could not pay attention on every studens. Students could search the information that they are intersted in through by internet in order to expand their knowledgy range. And during this process, students could practice their differet abilities due to they have to make sure their brain is continue to working. `
Electronic spellers and dictionaries are very effective tools to help beginners and second language learners to study language. It is more convenient and saving time. But the negative of the electonic dictionaries is difficult to deeper remember the meaning of words.
I think teacher e-portfolios si kind of online classes for the lower lever students. students could finish some classes independently at home according to the instruction of teachers gave on the website.
