Technology is a part of our life in now a days. Teachers start to use some techloligy tool to help students study. I think visual-thinking is a most useful things to students. Thinking process is invisible.Teacher only can see the result, but not the process. To make sure the ansswer is correct, you need to insure the thinking steps is correct. Therefore, the software that could let teacher see the thinking process of students. Teachers could monitor students' every step of thinking in order to avoid mistake and edite it immediately. As the same time, teachers could analysis the problem style that students have, and help them fix the mistakes at time.
I think gamification strategies has negative and positive affects. For the positive side gamesoftware could help students raise their study interesting. However, gamesoftware has many uncontrolble factors in it. First, parents could not monitor students everytime. They could find some entertainment games to instend of eduucation games after students could ues techology skillful. Second, as the author mentioned on the book, students may focus on do they win or not more than foucus on the content of knowledge.The essence of strategy has changed. Finally, as the age of student grow, they could not control them=selves to interested some stimulat games such as shooting, fighting, and adventure. These games are one of reasons that increase the rate of criminal.
Some media tools also exist the problem that increaing criminal rate. For example, the violence and bloody movie has negtive impact on students. They could not judge right and wrong when they are young. Someone could say:"we could control them to not allowed them to touch these kind of vedio." But, could you stay with them everytime? Parents could not stop the mobvie trailer and some bloody commercials occur infront of screen.
There are some communication software could help students and teacher get closer. Students could keep touch with teacher everytime and everywhere with the computer.More over, teacher could contact with parents anytime too. Parents could know more about the process and situation of students everyday from the teacher. It is more convienent. Students also could use these technology tool such as email, blogs, and communication table to share their mind and idea to the other students too. But students may unconsciously enter into some communication forum that did not belong their age.To avoid this situation happend, teachers and parents need to figure out solution.
